This piece of jewelry is made from a geranium leaf that is encased in copper. The patina has darker pinkish tones with a little golden as well. This is a large pin, probably the largest geranium leaf I have worked on, and it would be striking on a coat. Ruffly and very pretty.

This large-sized pin’s measurements are 2.75 inches wide by 2.75 inches in length including the stem. This pin is a botanical specimen that has been electroformed (electroplated) in copper for several hours and was finished with several layers of hand-mixed patinas and sealed to protect the finish.
