This sculpture is made from a wonderful hosta leaf, which has been encased in copper. The patina on this sculpture has beautiful mottled green tones. This is a nice smaller hosta leaf and would look wonderful anywhere, bookshelf, cabinet or desk. There is a little brown patina patch on the back; I love that. If you love hostas, this is for you!

This sculpture is a botanical specimen that has been electroformed (electroplated) in copper for several hours and was finished with several layers of handmade patinas and sealed to protect the finish.
