This necklace is made from an two maple leaves which have been encased in different metals: one copper with a black patina and the other in nickel. The 22-inch chain is a black powder coated steel chain with a black lobster claw clasp.

This medium/larger-sized pendant’s measurements are: for the black maple, 2 inches wide by 2 inches in length and the nickel maple is1.125 inches wide by 1 inch in length. This pendant is a botanical specimen that has been electroformed (electroplated) in copper and nickel for several hours and was finished with several layers of handmade patinas and sealed to protect the finish.
