This piece of jewelry is made from an actual maple seed, that is encased in copper. These distinctive fruits are called samaras, “maple keys”, “helicopters”, or even “whirlybirds. Whatever they are called, they make wonderful pendants! Really fun!
The patina has nice bluish color with greener tones around the edge. I love these.
