Maple Seed Pin
This pin is made from an actual maple seed that is encased in copper. The patina has pretty green and bluish coloring. A lovely addition to your coat or sweater. These distinctive fruits are called samaras, “maple keys”, “helicopters”, or even “whirlybirds. Whatever they are called, they make wonderful pins! Really fun!

This medium-sized pin’s measurements are .75 inches wide by 2 inches in length. This pin is a botanical specimen that has been electroformed (electroplated) in copper for several hours and was finished with several layers of handmade patinas and sealed to protect the finish.
