This sculpture is made from a milkweed plant which has been encased in copper. The patina on this sculpture has nice rose purple and yellow tones. This is a stunning sculpture and would look wonderful anywhere, bookshelf, cabinet or desk. This branch has five pods. These milkweed branches are extremely difficult to work on so consequentially I do not make many. But they are wonderfully unique and unusual.

This sculpture is a botanical specimen that has been electroformed (electroplated) in copper for several hours and was finished with several layers of handmade patinas and sealed to protect the finish.
