This barrette is made from an actual oak leaf which has been encased in copper. The patina on this barrette has gold, purple and rose colors. The oak tree is one of the most loved trees in the world. I know I have planted a lot of them! It’s a symbol of strength, resistance and knowledge. The clip size is 100 x 12mm, my largest. A beautiful large barrette to pull back your hair. This leaf has a wonderful curve and is a really pretty barrette.
