This sculpture is made from an exceptionally large white oak leaf which has been encased in copper. The patina on this sculpture has beautiful rose and yellow tones. This is a stunning sculpture and would look wonderful anywhere, bookshelf, cabinet or desk. It’s one of the largest white oak leaves I have found. I picked it up in the spring after spending the winter on the ground. There are some natural tears in the leaf adding character and interest. Very nice piece.

This sculpture is a botanical specimen that has been electroformed (electroplated) in copper for several hours and was finished with several layers of handmade patinas and sealed to protect the finish.
